What’s The Process

  • Step 2: Sign Service Agreement. 
  • Step 3: Complete family profile document. 
  • Step 4: Provide required documentation, criminal record checks and family reference. 
  • Step 5: Approve completed shareable profile.
  • Step 6: Review presented care giver profiles.
  • Step 7: Select care giver(s) you wish to meet. 

  • Step 8: Participate in three way virtual meeting between the family, the care giver (s) and our team. 
  • Step 9: Select which care giver you would like to move on in the process. 
  • Step 10: Set up an in person meeting between your family and the selected care giver. 
  • Step 11: Negotiate, draft and sign an offer of employment with terms and conditions agreed upon by both parties.
  • Step 12: Begin working with your new care giver

Who Can Host an Au Pair?

Hosting an au pair is a great option for families who:

What To Expect

Your Responsibilities


  • Meet by phone or video chat with our team to discuss the specifics of your position. 
  • Sign agency agreement.
  • Complete the family profile document.
  • Provide clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector for anyone over the age of 18 in the home. 
  • Provide one family reference. 
  • Participate in meetings with potential care givers.

Our Responsibilities

  • Create tailored job posting and recruit candidates for your position. 
  • Screen resumes and interview qualified care givers. 
  • Verify credentials. At minimum they are required to provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector and valid First Aid/CPR certificate. 
  • Complete two childcare related reference checks. 
  • Negotiate and draft an employment contract as per the terms and conditions agreed upon by both parties.

  • Each families needs are unique so pricing can vary. 
  • Estimated costs range from: $250 for summer nanny placements/short term placements, $750 for long term nanny placements, to $1100 for Au Pair placements


  • They need a private furnished bedroom. 
  • Shared bathroom is ok.
  • Meals negotiated in employment contract on a per diem rate


  • Yes! This is something that can be discussed and written into an employment contract if desired.


  • If this is something required for your position, we will recruit a care provider that can drive. 
  • If they are from abroad, they will be required to have an international driving permit. 
  • If they are local, we can request of copy of their drivers abstract as part of the screening process. 


  • I would recommend starting the search for a local nanny about a month before their desired start date. 
  • However, we have recruited and hired a local care giver in as little as 1 week. If you have an urgent request, don’t hesitate to reach out. 
  • I recommend beginning your search for an Au Pair at least two months before your desired start date.
